Laura and Andrew – Syracuse, Ortigia, Sicily Wedding

The last wedding of the year was a very special one: Laura and Andrew came from the United States to celebrate their wedding in Sicily in one of the most beautiful corners of the island: Island of Ortigia. Ortygia is a small island which is the historical center of the city of Syracuse, Sicily. The island, also known as the Città Vecchia, contains many historical landmarks. The name originates from the ancient Greek oryx, which means “Quail”.

Now, a destination wedding in Sicily is always fun, especially if you can document the wedding of such a sweet couple as Laura and Andrew are and together with all their guests we spent a wonderful wedding weekend together.
