Italy Wedding Photographer Julian Kanz
Ciao!
My name is Julian Kanz, I’m a destination photographer, documenting weddings in Tuscany, Portofino, the Italian Lakes, Florence, the French Riviera, the Amalfi Coast, and wherever in the world people come together to celebrate their love.
My photography is documentary at heart. It is built around real moments, honest emotions, and a thoughtful, creative eye for what happens in between. I’m not interested in perfect staging, but in memories that feel true. Images that make you laugh, maybe cry, and help you feel something every time you look back at them.
What I bring is more than just a camera. A calm, positive presence, many years of experience, and a strong sensitivity for people and atmosphere. I observe, listen, and capture moments as they naturally unfold. Being fluent in German, Italian, and English allows me to connect easily with you, your families, and your guests, no matter where they come from.
For over 16 years, weddings have taken me around the world. My work has received multiple international awards and was featured in a documentary by German television (ZDF). These roots in photojournalism still shape the way I work today: attentive, respectful, and always close to real life.
In the end, it’s always about one thing: telling your story in a way that still feels alive years from now.
