A quick bio.
Born in Germany, I discovered photography early on, almost instinctively. At sixteen, my first images were published in a Belgian newspaper. By eighteen, I found myself photographing inside Angela Merkel’s office in Bonn. Years of photojournalism followed, leading me to extraordinary encounters with figures from Bill Clinton to Bono, from Helmut Kohl to moments that made history.
Then love rewrote the map. It led me to Italy, to a new chapter, and to a shared life that deeply shaped the way I see, feel, and tell stories. This country became my home. Its light, its landscapes, and the genuine closeness of its people gifted me a unique mix of lightness and depth that permanently changed my perspective.
A turning point came when a friend asked me to photograph his brother’s wedding. For the first time, I saw how people relived their day through my images, not as a perfect, staged performance, but as an honest and emotional memory. In that moment, I understood what truly matters. Wedding photography is not about perfection. It is about closeness, trust, and those small, fleeting moments that often go unnoticed and later mean everything.
Since then, I have dedicated myself to documenting weddings in all their forms. From small, intimate celebrations on a hillside in Tuscany with long conversations late into the night, to large celebrations filled with music, dancing, and fireworks. Across different cultures and places, my focus remains the same: capturing the genuine, unscripted moments when two people begin their life together.
While storytelling through weddings lies at the heart of my work, my background in photojournalism continues to shape a diverse professional portfolio. For many years, I have brought this same candid, documentary perspective to corporate and commercial projects, including long-standing collaborations with Costa Crociere in Genoa, capturing the essence of life and scale at sea. My passion for visual storytelling also extends into the music industry, where I collaborate on creative projects with artists such as Planet Funk, capturing the raw energy of live performance and artistic expression.
Whether documenting an intimate vow exchange, a large-scale corporate narrative, or the energy of a music project, my approach remains grounded in the same philosophy: finding the truth in the moment, building trust, and creating images that resonate long after they are taken.

From a Photo to a Story
In photojournalism, it was about the single, definitive image.
In wedding photography, it is about the whole story.
It is the narrative of a unique day, told through its big milestones and its quietest moments, the spontaneous snapshots and the timeless portraits. How often in life do the people you love most travel from all over to gather in one special place and celebrate life itself?
My work is documentary at heart, guided by a creative eye and a deep sensitivity for people. I work calmly and unobtrusively, paying close attention to what happens between the lines. Very often, it is these unnoticed moments that later become the most meaningful.
Over the past 16 years, weddings have taken me across borders and oceans. My photographs have been published in national and international magazines, received various awards, and the German television channel ZDF even followed my work in Italy for a documentary.
But the greatest recognition remains the trust of the couples who look at their gallery and tell me they truly see themselves.
