Borgo di Castelvecchio Summer Wedding
Emily and Kevin’s wedding at Borgo di Castelvecchio was the perfect definition of a summer garden celebration in the heart of Tuscany.
It was a super hot day in Val d’Orcia, one of those classic Tuscan days where the light is bright, the air is still, and everything feels slow and golden. With around 60 guests, the atmosphere stayed intimate, relaxed, and personal from start to finish.
Emily and Kevin live in the UK but were both born in the USA, and they brought a beautifully international feel to the day. Their vision was a “black tie garden party”, elegant but never stiff. Think refined summer style, long tables, flowers everywhere, and guests enjoying the moment without any rush.
The day was flawlessly planned by Varese Wedding, with floral design by I fiori di Nadia, perfectly matching the natural surroundings of the borgo. Dinner was catered by Tonino da Cortona, and it was exactly what a summer wedding in Tuscany should taste like.
I had the pleasure of photographing the day together with Beatrice Moricci, always a joy to work with and an amazing second photographer.
A hot summer day, a stunning Tuscan location, and a couple who truly enjoyed every second of it. Simple, elegant, and full of genuine moments.
