Podere La Specola – Intimate Chianti Wedding
Sometimes it is the quiet moments that stay with you the longest as a photographer. Andrea and Eric’s Persian wedding at Podere La Specola in Chianti was exactly that. Small, intimate and full of genuine emotion.
They travelled from the United States to Tuscany to exchange their vows surrounded by their closest loved ones. There was no big staging. Instead, the atmosphere was one where every glance and every gesture carried meaning. Between gentle hills, ancient olive trees and the soft light of May, their very personal celebration took place.
I had the privilege of documenting the day and was supported by Beatrice Moricci, working alongside me as a second photographer with a fine sense for moments. The wedding was planned and coordinated by Etis Prifti from The Wedding Trail with calm precision and heart. Every detail reflected the couple’s character and their authentic, understated way of being, deeply connected to the landscape they chose for their day.
What struck me most was how consciously Andrea and Eric experienced their wedding. There was no time pressure and no distractions. Only the two of them, the Tuscan surroundings and the people who matter to them.
It was one of those weddings where, as a photographer, you do not just document what happens. You are part of it.
