Winter Wedding in the Dolomites

There’s something truly magical about getting married in the snow. The muffled silence of the Dolomites, the crisp light reflecting on the white, and that intimate feeling that only the mountains in winter can offer. Jennifer and Thaddeus’ wedding at Hotel Kolfuschgerhof was all of this… and so much more.

A few days before the wedding, Thaddeus injured his foot, which limited his movement. And yet, his energy and genuine happiness made the day even more special. Sometimes it’s the unexpected moments that remind us of what truly matters. Surrounded by Jennifer’s love and with eyes full of emotion, he still managed to enjoy every second.

The entire event was perfectly planned by Federica Nascimben from The Italian Wedding Event, who coordinated every detail with elegance, despite the challenges that come with organizing a wedding at high altitude and in snowy conditions.

Jennifer’s getting ready, beautifully styled by Claudia Bellomo, was a calm and intimate moment before saying “I do”. The flowers by Leandro Flowers added warmth and colour to the winter landscape, creating a stunning contrast against the snow.

I had the privilege of telling this love story through images, guided by the authenticity of the moments, the laughter, the spontaneous gestures, and that special kind of light that the Dolomites reveal only to those who know how to look.
